This very cool red tin gyrocopter, though unmarked, is generally accepted to have been made in Occupied Japan in the late 40’s to early 50’s. The aircraft is 4″ long and is made of painted tin. The clockwork motor works well. There is some paint loss, mainly on the rotor as can be seen in the photos. There is no key included, but any small toy key from Japanese or European toys will work. This a fairly fragile toy that has been well cared for.
