Beautiful Vintage Day Sailer Model

I have no idea who made the great model of a 1940’s day sailer, but it was made with great skill and precision. The model has an overall length of 16″ and is a product of superb design and construction. The finish is original and is in great condition with just the right amount of patina. The builder had great wood working skills as evidenced by the fit and finish of the components. It looks like the tiller handle was lost over the years as perhaps was the center board. A highly detailed boom is present, but the main mast is missing. The model comes with its own original custom stand. Still, what remains is a beautiful work of art that has a great shelf presence.
