Description

Othered here is an incredible piece of 1950’s space toy history. This great space port is constructed of lithographed tin and is 10″ long by 7″ tall. The lithography is strong and bright with no rust or damage. The 50’s space and rocket images are fantastic in deign and condition. The plastic Pyro X-300 rocket ship mounts inside, and can be launched from a spring loaded catapult launcher. This feature is in great working condition, but its use is not recommended as due to the fragility of the Rocket. I believe this toy was a joint venture between Pyro plastics and T. Cohn lithographed toy company. This is far the best condition I have seen for the Space Port. The Pyro X-300 is in very good original condition with some wear to the upper tail fin and a slight, tight crack in the nose cone.
