The Ford Venus was an obscure car that was created in the 1950’s by a company using a Ford frame and power plant in their own custom body. They produced a few cars, then drifted off into obscurity. That didn’t prevent Nomura, a Japanese toymaker from creating their own lithographed tin version of the Ford Venus. This great little car is 8″ long, and is complete and original. It has slight wear, and may not have had any play time. It has a strong friction motor, and offers battery op light under the hood. This feature is untested at this time. The toy includes it’s original box with great colorful lithography, and is in very good condition. There is a slight crack in the thin plastic section of the hood.
