Occupied Japan Clockwork Celluloid Boy with Suitcase

Description

This little celluloid toy stands 4.5″ tall, and is in very good working condition. These toys are extremely fragile and few have survived in decent condition. The boy is celluloid and the suitcase is tin. He works great and will run across the table, legs pumping. As can be seen in the photos, the string attaching the arms has loosened a bit as is so often the case with these toys. It can be tightened if desired. There is a small crack in the celluloid between the boys chin and right cheek. A generic key is included that will operate the toy.
