This 6″ tall Tumbling Indian toy is unmarked, but most likely made in Japan in the late 40’s to early 50’s. His upper body, head, and arms are made of celluloid and the lower portion of decorative cloth. When wound up he propels himself along tumbling over with his arms. His res skin and evil expression would probably not be very PC today, but he is a slice of toy history from another time.
