This car is one of the iconic pieces of 1950’s plastic space toys. It was available in two models, red and yellow sold in a plastic bag with a hang tag, and red, yellow, and blue in a box. This is the hang tag version, and it comes with the original tag offering the car from US Plastics for 39 cents. The car is in very good condition with a slight scratch on the left rear fender top and a strange dark spot on the right nose. it looks like a crack, but does not feel like one. The car is 7″ long and is a space car that does not show up very often.
